Bite Me - Parker Blue
Val Shapiro's not your ordinary
part-demon teenager who fights
vampires on the streets of San
Antonio.
Summary (from Amazon):
An edgy book for teens that spans the gap between YA and adult fiction. Life after high school is tough enough without having to go 15 rounds with your inner demon. Val Shapiro is just your ordinary, part-demon, teenaged vampire hunter with a Texas drawl. And a pet hellhound named Fang. Soon enough she finds herself deep in the underbelly of the city, discovering the secrets of the Demon Underground and fighting to save those she loves. Whether they love her back or not.
Review:
I really liked this book. I've never read a book from the slayer's perspective, only from a vampire perspective, and it was a nice change. Val had a nice voice and I could feel her emotions and what the author was describing. The story continued with no dull parts. There was always an exciting moment or something happening with lots of action.
Parker Blue did a great job writing her first novel, and I'm looking forward to reading the second book in the series.
hope.

Good review. I've seen this around, but never read a review of it until now. That is pretty sweet it's in the point of view of the vampire slayer.
