Weekly Geeks #10: Magazines

Our topic for this weeks Weekly Geeks is magazines. Here is what was posted on the site: "This week’s Weekly Geeks theme is to talk about the magazines we read. In order to get you started, I prepared a little magazines meme, but feel free to take it further if you want. I also think it’d be great if you displayed images of the covers of your favorite magazines."

I read a few magazines (though I usually get behind in my reading because I'm always reading books haha). I subscribe to two magazines, which are the ones I read the most.

Seventeen:

-->Do you subscribe or just buy it now and then? I subscribe.
-->What’s your favorite regular feature in the magazine? The real life stories. (Though I do enjoy the beauty tips also, haha.)
-->What do you think your interest in this magazine says about you? That I'm a regular teenage girl? lol. I think it says that I like to keep in style and learn how to be more confident with who I am.
-->How long have you been reading this magazine? For one year. So, since I was thirteen.
-->Is there any unique or quirky aspect to the magazine that keeps you reading? You learn lots from it. It's not just a beauty magazine - there are also real life stories and fun ways to keep in shape. It's enjoyable to read.

CosmoGirl:
-->Do you subscribe or just buy it now and then? Suscribe.
-->What’s your favorite regular feature in the magazine? I enjoy the real life stories in this one, too.
-->What do you think your interest in this magazine says about you? Basically what the answer says for Seventeen applies here.
-->How long have you been reading this magazine? About two years, I think.
-->Is there any unique or quirky aspect to the magazine that keeps you reading? CosmoGirl is run by the same people who do Seventeen magazine, so basically what I said above would apply here, also.

.::Sorry about the lack of reviews! They are probably going to be really sparse this week - we finally have a week here in Michigan that is dry, and my family is trying to get all our hay done, so I'll be working out in the fields (and working up a farmer's tan, which, if I do say so myself, is pretty hot, lol) most of this week. I will apologize in advance, because I know the farm work will keep me busy this week.::.

hope.

I subscribe to both of those and LOVE them. They're awesome.

I subscribe to only one magazine and that would be Alternative Press, because I LOVE music...but that's cool! I like reading some of those sometimes though...good luck with all the farm work! Hope you get a good tan then. :)

Harmony - I know. They're amazing. :)

Lauren - I'm working on it. I rolled up my long sleeves today, so my lower arms are all scratched up -- it looks like I have a rash, but just in those spots. It's going to hurt when I have to take a shower, haha. And my fingers are sore because I just got new gloves so I have to break them in, but other than that I'm all good. But I'll be back workin' tomorrow. :) haha.

Ohh, I think I might have to post a Weekly Geek review this week. Not that I subscribe to any magazines right now, but I have a few favorites. :)

And so cool that you work on a farm. I grew up on a farm. Now I'm living in a city and I definitely miss it. Good luck with the tan! :)
