Ah, yes. The Count of Monte Cristo. I had to read that last year for English. Good book.
I really really loved the Count of Monte Crisco. It may seem to be long and kind of dragging but it is a really good book. There is a movie too (though im not advising you to cheat), and the movie actually does the book justice.
The Count of Monte Cristo is amazing! I read the unabridged version over the summer, what a fantastic adventure.

I really want to read Almost perfect, it sounds so good!
