Memorial Day

So, today is Memorial Day. And while some of you may just think of it as a way to get a long weekend off from school, what we really need to think of is our soldiers who are fighting for our freedom now, and others who have fought before or even died before so we can be free and live our lives the way we do.

So, to all of them, thank you.

hope.

Well said, daughter of mine! Glad to see that some of the younger generation understands what Memorial Day is all about! Love you! Mom

I wanted to say thank you for this post. Having a father that died in the gulf war and a husband that is in the air force makes a weekend like this hard and proud at the same time. I want to thank you very much for this again, I cried as I read it because that picture makes me think of my dad's grave, it looks identical to those, so it brings that all back to me.

thank you, Hope, for appreciating everyone and all the families that go through what we do!

Very nice Hope! I got so caught up in the holiday itself that I almost forgot to give thanks and really think about what this holiday is really about. God bless to all who have went through what Amber has went through.(see above)
