So, I saw a post by Taren last night showing her bookshelves. I will also be the first to tell you that I like to see what others have on their bookshelves, so I decided I'd take pictures and post this today. You'll see what you're going through that I'm big on things being in size order from tallest to shortest. That's pretty much how I organize everything... if things aren't in size order, I pretty much freak out. The only pile of books that I have that aren't in size order is my To Be Reviewed stack, only because they're in the order that I read them, so I know when to post reviews.. you'll see that picture below, too.
So, here's the first picture. It's my whole bookshelf. These are just the first rows - both shelves are have two rows -- I have pictures of those, too. And if you click on the picture, it'll make it bigger.
The next picture is of the top shelf. These are books that I haven't read yet. And last year's yearbook, lol.
This is the bottom shelf. These are the books that I've already read.
Next is the top shelf, second row. In this row is mainly books i've read for school, assorted other books, and journals and things like that.
This is the bottom shelf, second row. These are also all books I've read before, but they're hardcovers.
This is my row on the floor. As you can see, I ran out of room on my bookshelves, so I had to start putting my books on my floor.
My pile of books that have to be reviewed are on top of my CD and DVD rack. Once they're reviewed, they move over to the bookshelf. Or the floor. Or wherever I can find room to put them. :p
The last picture is my headboard on my bed. I stack lots of books on here. :p The stack on the very left is a stack of library books, next to that, books borrowed from friends, next to that, books for school, and then on the very far right, another stack of library books.
And just for fun, this is my room. I'm standing at my door, so you can't see my bookshelf, though. My desk and computer are in front of my jacket that's sitting on my chair.
So, those are my bookshelves. I still have a lot of books from when I was a kid, but most of them are in the basement. My mom's an elementary school teacher, so she took a lot of those to use when she's tutoring. Are they what you expected?
