Audrey, Wait! - Robin Benway

The day I broke up with my boyfriend Evan was the day he wrote the song. You know, the song.

Audrey Cuttler just wants to be a normal sixteen-year-old girl. She wants to go out and see her favorite bands at concerts, go to the mall and shop for Christmas gifts, and go out with her new crush, James, her co-worker.

But that's kind of hard to do when your ex-boyfriend writes a song about you breaking up and suddenly you're famous.

Audrey, Wait! is now one of my favorite books. Robin Benway has written a very funny book that deals with a mind boggling topic: If you were suddenly (and unwantedly) thrown into the spotlight, how would you handle it? Audrey didn't ask her ex-boyfriend to write that song, she didn't ask all the paperazzi to keep coming around her house - she just wanted to be normal.

Audrey, Wait! is a book that will pull you in from the beginning and keep you hanging until the end.

hope.
