You Know Where to Find Me - Rachel Cohn

Miles and Laura are cousins, but they were close enough, they felt like sisters. Laura was always the beautiful, perfect, smart one with the rich dad and the perfect boyfriend and the skinny body. Miles was the one that was fat and nicknamed 8 Mile by people at Laura's school.

That's why Miles doesn't understand why it was Laura who decided to kill herself.

You Know Where to Find Me is a book about getting over someones death. Miles is not only dealing with Laura's death in the wrong ways, but she's also "losing" her best friend because he is going out with Bex, Laura's best friend. She is taking drugs and just not feeling like herself anymore, when one day she accidentally OD's.

You Know Where to Find Me was a very enjoyable book. I got into it quickly, and even though the subject of the book was depressing, I didn't get to depressed reading it, because I knew what was going to be coming. I know they tell you never to judge a book by it's cover, but I do anyway, and this cover was amazing. Whoever made it up did an excellent job. The writing was very good, too.

I think most people will be able to relate to this book because most people have lost someone that they were very close to. It takes a while to get over that and this book illustrates that. Some people choose to go down the wrong path and take drugs, which is what Miles does because she feels like there is no other way to make the pain go away.

hope.

I love Rachel Cohn's books, so I had high expectations. I wanted to love it, but I didn't.
